It isn't art school until you're crying in the bathroom.

I have arrived. And, I've survived my first week! Color Theory, Drawing II, and Math (for dummies) will consume me for the next couple of months. Thanks to SCAD's fabulous five credit system I'll be "reviewing" a lot of things this term. I'll be sure to share any interesting tidbits and projects.

Here's what I've learned about Georgia so far—the water tastes like rotten eggs, the bugs are bigger than humming birds, they don't believe in toilet seat covers, and the humidity feels like being slapped repeatedly with a dirty wet sock. I'm adjusting.

I had to leave my camera behind but I plan to get a little point and shoot so I can take pictures to share. Shouldn't be long.

I miss everyone terribly and, as promised, I will be staying in touch.
