Fakey McFakerson

The objective—reproduce a representational and abstract work using wet media only. A couple of my favorites, Degas and Rothko. I actually enjoyed this exercise.

Slappin' Some Crap

I think I like pastels better when I can be sloppy with 'em.

Krab Salad

What do you get when you mix a plastic crab with a missing leg, an old rubber whale, some fake gourds, and a piece of wax fruit? This—

Still life with a bunch of old crap.

So, since I don't have any fabulous deign work to show this term I'll have to post my drawings instead.

Sad.

Drawing likes to kick me in the face on a regular basis.  Perhaps one day I'll punch it back.

Tater Type

In typography club we made letter stamps out of potatoes. It's all fun and games until someone (and by someone, I mean me) carves their ampersand backwards (or, in the case of stamps, right reading.) Unfortunately, tater type has a very short shelf life but you can immortalize it in Photoshop.

A Portrait of Agent Cupcake

They're making me use pastels. They're very messy. Here's my first drawing with them. Try not to laugh (too hard).  Agent Cupcake was concepted and hand sewn by the fabulous Shoko Saito.
